Three good tips for writing with Nordbot
1: Be specific and provide context and information
Although Nordbot can respond to short inquiries, it often has to guess a lot if you only provide a single word or a very brief sentence. This can lead to less precise answers.
Here are two key rules for getting a good response from Nordbot:
Minimize the need for guessing: Add all relevant details that can help it answer your question.
Avoid irrelevant information: If you provide too much unnecessary information, Nordbot may look for keywords in that as well, which can lead to a more confusing response.
2: Write as if a human will also receive the message
If Nordbot cannot answer your question, you can forward the message to our support team. Therefore, making your message clear and easy to understand helps both you and us.
3: Don’t be afraid to ask again
There are no limits on the number of inquiries you can make. If you only received a partial answer or are unsure how to proceed with Nordbot’s response, feel free to ask follow-up questions.
Getting in touch with a supporter
Nordbot cannot help with everything, and sometimes it is necessary to speak with a supporter. If you want to contact support directly, do the following:
Start your message with: “I would like to get in touch with a supporter.” Then write the rest of your message.
Nordbot will then ask for more details and transfer you.
It may take up to 30 seconds before you are transferred, so you have time to write a more detailed message.
Once you are connected to the support team, they will do their best to assist you.
Guidelines and Tips
If your message is too short, Nordbot may respond in Danish, English, or Swedish. Since Nordbot can automatically translate into other languages, it is important to provide complete sentences for it to work with.
You can always ask Nordbot to provide the answer in Norwegian or another language if you prefer.
If you send a message while Nordbot is summarizing, it may not respond.
If you suspect that Nordbot has stopped, try sending a follow-up message with “?” to prompt a response.
